Bucolic Drivel

A far cry from my usual fare.
Taken 27 April, 2009.
Ah, wilderness.

Good news, folks. I am getting my Leica M3 rangefinder camera repaired, so I will be shooting in film again. Being the retro guy that I am, I will be shooting in orthochromatic black and white film, the kind that was used before the 1940s. Finding the film is a task unto itself, but I found a great place to buy film and rangefinder equipment. The place is called Big Camera Workshop (see http://www.bigcameraworkshops.com/default2.asp ). Amazing supply shop from Burlington Ontario. The site is like a candy store for photographers. Check it out! You won't be sorry! The lens section is like looking at the jewelry section at Tiffany's. BTW, for those who aren't familiar with the Leica M3, click here http://www.kenrockwell.com/leica/m3.htm . The Leica M3 is often regarded as the greatest camera in photographic history. I concur.
