Vickers Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XVI, known as the American Spitfire for its Packard built Rolls Royce Merlin engine. It was essentially a Spitfire Mk. IX LF (Low altitude Fighter).
This picture was shot with a 70-300mm Canon lens, WITHOUT stabilization. Remember that this plane is travelling at over 300 m.p.h. From this angle, the port wing seems smaller than the starboard wing, an illusion brought about by the wings' acute dihedral. (Yes, I know about aircraft design.)
